Principal's Message

Greetings, Parents, Students, and Families of Saline High School,

I would like to take this opportunity to say, “Welcome Back!” to the faculty, staff, students, and community who have so graciously welcomed me into the Saline Bobcat family.  I am proud of the accomplishments of our Bobcats last year.  In all aspects, our students, faculty, and staff embodied our motto, “Every day, in every way, a better version of me!”

Saline High School serves preschool through 12th grade and has a population of approximately 330 students. Saline High School has earned an “A” rating seven out of the last eight years, and although last year's scores have not been released yet, it is very possible that we may have accomplished an “A” again! This dynasty of education success undoubtedly proves that we are academic champions at SHS. Furthermore, these scores measure our commitment to the Saline High School mission: to provide students with opportunities to reach their highest potential, enabling them to make wise life choices. As a united team, the staff, faculty, student body, and community will achieve our goals by continuing to ensure student growth.

Students, I am excited to continue helping you grow into the person you dream of becoming.  I hope to help you see that there are no limits to what you can achieve when you are determined. At Saline High School, you are surrounded by faculty, staff, administration, and peers who truly care for you and want to see you succeed!

Parents, I am enthusiastic about working with each of you as well. Having four children of my own, ages 27 to 17, I know how much trust, faith, and cooperation are required to help steer our youth. Parental support with open lines of communication is an essential part of any successful school year and child development. I promise to do my part to keep those lines open, honest, and effective.

Lastly, I want you all to rest assured that although there have been personnel changes here at Saline High School, they will not affect our dedication to our students, their well-being, or their success.  In all things, we will ALWAYS keep the students first!

Go Bobcats!

Every day, in every way, a BETTER VERSION OF ME!
