Childhood cancer has continued to be a leading cause of death for children and adolescents.
We know that children in our own community are dependent on the vital research and treatments available at St. Jude's Research Hospital, and we want to help. At Saline High School, our students are actively performing a "Change War" to raise funds for this worthwhile cause, and you can help!
Each grade will work to fill a container with as much change as possible. All change counts as positive points for the face value of the coin. To increase the competition, students may “contribute” to other grades’ jars using bills, which count as negative points. The grade with the highest point value will win the competition. There are three divisions: Pre-K -3rd, 4th-8th, and High School.
All funds raised through electronic donations will be a separate count. This "Digital Jar" will be added to the total amount raised by the students for the final donation.
How you can help power our mission:
Donate Directly: Every dollar counts. Electronic donations will not be assigned to a specific grade but added to the total St. Jude’s donation after the competition. Contribute now to help us reach our goal.
Donate to a Class Jar: To participate in the Change War, CASH DONATIONS (either change or bills) must be sent to the school with a student or donated in person!
All change counts as positive points for the coin's value, and all bills count as negative points. You can donate a quarter to give 25 points to a grade and then donate a dollar to another grade to subtract 100 points from their total!
